Abigail Marsh brings us years of research around fear. She is the author of The Fear Factor and a Ted Talk speaker with over 2.2Million views on the subject of fear.  

As a Psychology researcher she studies the motivations of people who do extremely altruistic acts and those who lean towards psychopathy (sociopaths). She teaches topics that range from Neuroscience and Cognitive Science at Georgetown.

Her research uses brain imaging, as well as behavioral, cognitive, genetic, and pharmacological techniques, and her work has been published in 80 publications.

Abby shares her personal journey that led her to studying fear and altruism, the important difference between fearlessness and bravery, what meta-fear is and how it affects your thoughts and behaviors, how to question your own fear and build relationships in spite of your fear or others.
