What is it like to be 90-years old and look back on the many decades you’ve lived? Licia Fertz shares her life lessons throughout her many decades. From the loss of a child and husband to how she has become an influencer, she recounts vibrant memories and recent insights from her 95k and counting Instagram fans.
Licia is from Northern Italy and has been living in Viterbo located in Lazio for over 5 decades. To help me translate Licia’s Italian her grandson Emanuele joins us. We get into her new book There Is No Time To Be Sad, which she wrote with his help.
Soon after Licia’s husband Aldo passed away she fell into a depression. Emanuele had been living with them the last several years, so luckily was easily available to cheer her up and help out. He soon started her own Instagram account documenting her daily life. It became a hit! She has since partnered with big brands and has been covered by much of Italy’s press. It’s a privilege to have her on Torch.
