Ep 2 – Life Shift With Female CEO Coach, Lila Harding

Welcome to episode two of Torch, the leadership podcast for your life and career.

In this episode, I interview Lila Harding. She owns a consulting company that helps CEOs master their lives and take that needed next step for their career. She is also the CEO of Luminary Communications where she works alongside her husband consulting international corporations on their leadership dynamics.

Lila Harding interview with Tiana Madera on TorchLila has years of experience helping others through their inflection points with clarity and support. She advises clients based on their desired life shift – on what they want to work towards or accomplish. She helps them strive to not just balance life, but actually live in intention towards a more thoughtful path.

We jump right into the nitty gritty, talking about how things don’t have to be hard to be good, which is a concept I’ve always struggled with. She calls out our “celebrate hard work” culture and how it can be distracting and totally unnecessary when working on your goals and projects. Plus, we talk about the real affects of burnout… something I’ve also experienced.

Fun fact: Lila has been known to have her clients work with horses allowing them to see how they lead in many facets of their lives. This has created ah-ha moments for these leaders in many ways. Lila shares her passion in bringing horses into her leadership coaching sessions. Clients learned more about themselves by seeing how they deal with frustration in a situation that they cannot control. They’ve also learned empathy, clarity and presence by working with the horses.

“You win or you learn, there is no losing.” — Lila Harding
